On April 14, 2021, Eric Geurts released his solo debut CD 'Leave A Mark'. 'Same Kind of Shine', a catchy, uptempo and uplifting americana/country summer song in the style of The Counting Crows, Sheryl Crow and Bruce Springsteen, will be released as a single on the first day of Summer, June 21, 2021 on Flying Snowman Records.

'Same Kind of Shine' is a romantic and uplifting story about a guy who is still madly in love with his girl-friend. He compares the twinkling in her eyes with the stars shining on the water of the lake where they first met. The song was co-written with Nashville-based songwriter Arlis Albritton.

'Same Kind of Shine' est l'histoire romantique et édifiante d'un homme qui est toujours follement amoureux de sa petite amie. Il compare le scintillement de ses yeux aux étoiles qui brillent sur l'eau du lac où ils se sont rencontrés pour la première fois. La chanson a été coécrite avec Arlis Albritton, auteur-compositeur basé à Nashville.
