This song is NOT about John (Lennon), George (Harrison) and Tom (Petty) having a drink in the mythic 'Temple Bar'... Although the music might recall the like!
"Heaven" is a romantic pop ballad about a loving angel, written and performed by singer-songwriter Eric Geurts. In his first solo release, Eric evokes the angelic feelings of a new found love.
"Heaven" is a happy, melodious love song, a perfect springtime tune.
Si nous étions à Dublin, attablés au légendaire 'Temple Bar', on pourrait peut-être penser que cette chanson parle d'une rencontre entre John Lennon, George Harrison et Tom Petty mais... ce n'est pas le cas.
'Heaven' est plutôt une balade pop mélodique qui intégre immédiatement votre capital souvenirs tant elle est accrocheuse et tombe dans l'oreille. Cette première réalisation d'Eric Geurts en tant qu'artiste solo mais aussi comme auteur, compositeur et interprète met en exergue la fraîcheur et la pureté des sentiments que génèrent un nouvel amour.
C'est une chanson légère qui évoque le renouveau qu'apporte le printemps, une mélodie transitoire qui se pose comme un trait-d'union entre la léthargie hivernale et la renaissance qui vient avec le réveil de la nature.
